This happens on two of my laptops both running 14.04LTS. One laptop is a
Dell studio 1737 with 4bg ram in bios mode and the other is a Samsung
540U4E with 16gb ram and in UEFI mode. Both get the same error.

  New

Bug description:
  Upgrading from Kubuntu 14.04 to 14.10. I ran "sudo do-release-upgrade
  -m desktop -f DistUpgradeViewKDE" and then got an error saying "could
  not calculate the upgrade"
