[Bug 1384792] Re: Installing from 12.04.4 iso downloads updates automatically

Ubuntu Foundations Team Bug Bot 1384792 at bugs.launchpad.net

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We noticed that you were installing the LTS version of
Ubuntu using an older version of the installation media. The latest
point release of 12.04 is 12.04.5. Please try installing from that
version of the installation media and see if that resolves your issue.
Thanks in advance!

Title:
Installing from 12.04.4 iso downloads updates automatically

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I installed from the 12.04.4 iso on a USB key.
I did _not_ check the "Automatically install updates" checkbox.
I did configure the wireless network at the next screen.

During installation, a bunch of packages were downloaded from the
  Internet, contrary to expected behaviour.
