  14.04 installer crashes towards the dn of the process

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  running std 14.04 64 bit installer on vanilla dual core intel proc
  with 4GB Ram

  installer reported crash but tried to continue. Also noticed during
  install (with term iwindow open) that .desktop was not able to
  included in "something (sorry can't remeber what).

  also, installer fails to recongnise a NVIDIA grahics card. I have to
  force this after the install.
