Title:
Grub failed when installing Ubuntu on a seperate SSD, while win 7
already exists on another SSD
Status in “grub-installer” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
You guys cannot fucking fix the installation on the 14th fucking
version of this OS.
God damn !!!!!
This is y i hate this fucking OS, after 10 i jump to 14 and its still
the same fucking shit !!!!
I have 3 SSDs. One has win-7, the other 2 are empty. I tried
installing Ubuntu 10 on one of them and either grub boot loader
replaces the win-7 loader or doesnt even update the boot loader and
win-7 boots directly after ubuntu installation. Either might happen
based on the state of the universe, this is my 5th installation, still
0 success.
I know i can install it on the same disk after re-sizing BUT I DONT
WANT TO DO THAT. After years of fucking with this Ubuntu BS you can at
least ask all of the 3 people working on Ubuntu to fix the fucking
boot loader first. How many use cases can there possible be ?
Linux OS exists on same/different disk/partition.
Windows exists on same/different disk/partition.
Unknown OS (then dont fuk with its boot loader entry).
