I don't know what "Minty Mac Winny" is, but it isn't an official Ubuntu
flavor, so is unsupported here.

Bug description:
   I tried it two times, and also on another
  computer with AMD M 500 processor, and
  Ati 4570 graphics, from where it not
  could be started. I received a
  black screen with a white window
  on the top left corner.
