Title:
  couldn't install "linux-image-extra-3.13.0-34-generic"

Status in “ubuntu-release-upgrader” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  trying to upgrade from Kubuntu 14.04 to 14.10.
  while upgrading I got  "couldn't install linux-image-extra-3.13.0-34-generic" message and a request to report the error.
  upgrade will apparently continue but linux-image-extra-3.13.0-34-generic package may not be operational.
  installed post-installation script sub process exited with error code is 2.

  KDELibs 4.14.1
  Qt 4.8.6
  Core 3.13.0-34-generic
  IS type 64 bit

  hardware:
  1 x AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad-Core processor, 3 x AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad-Core processor
  memory 3,4 GiB ram
