Title:
  Missing symbol(s) in liblapacke

Status in “lapack” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I am building a library (plasma) that links against lapacke and I am
  getting the following linking error:

  undefined reference to `LAPACKE_zlatms_work'

The function is also missing from a dump of the library's symbol table
(using objdump -tT) but is present if I compile the library from
source. The function definition is also present in lapacke.h. I have
not checked if any additional symbols are missing from the library.

This occurs with 12.10 and liblapacke 3.4.1-6 amd64.
