[Bug 1298704] [NEW] ubiquity crashed at file copy stage

Public bug reported:

Using ubiquity from an existing installation (14.04 alpha) to install
14.04 to a blank HDD.

Ubuqity crashed early in the last step of copying the files to the
target disk. No non-generated files copied. Here is the FS tree in
/target:

$ sudo  find /target/
