It looks like you have a non-official version of usb-modeswitch
installed:

Broken usb-modeswitch-data:amd64 Casse on usb-modeswitch [ amd64 ] < 1.2.3+repack0-1ubuntu3 > ( comm ) (< 1.2.7)
  Considering usb-modeswitch:amd64 3 as a solution to usb-modeswitch-data:amd64 1
  Holding Back usb-modeswitch-data:amd64 rather than change usb-modeswitch:amd64

If you install the official Ubuntu version of the package, the upgrade
may be more successful.
