Please note that this happens regardless of whether or not the install
updates before install option is checked. This is a fresh install.
Ubuntu 14.04 installed fine previously, but 13.10 will not install. I am
making sure to format the partition.

Lenovo U510
Intel Core i5 3rd Gen
8GB RAM
750GB HDD Windows 8/Windows7/Ubuntu triple boot.
