This happens on Xubuntu 13.10 as well and I get a encryptswap error on
startup all the time too.

Bug description:
Was going to shrink partition and gparted shows swap as not
recognized. Opened gnome-system-monitor and swap is not showing. This
is a new build, fresh installl, of Xubuntu 14.04 beta 1
