[Bug 1294721] [NEW] trusty-desktop-amd64+mac.iso install fails with "ubi-usersetup failed with exit code 2"

I'm trying to install the iso created: 19-Mar-2014 07:50.

The target system is a Macbook Air. After filling out the "Who are you?"
dialog I get the error dialog mentioned in the title.
