Your installation medium contains incorrect files.  You need to format
the usb stick before placing the installer image on it.

Bug description:
  I dowloaded a stable version of Ubuntu 
  at the settings the program shows to update to UBUNTU 13.0 and started the installation the update didn't find nothing in CD rom because the image I saved at USB and was an older version and stopped.
