Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop ISO of the
development release - Trusty Tahr. It would help us greatly if you could
test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of
Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at
http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your
help.
** Description changed:
I burn the official 13.10 livecd to a usb key.
I run the install fine with all defaults.
I then reboot from the livecd usb.
In the screen asking me is to reinstall ubuntu to a local disk, I choose "something else"
There I change the first partition from ext4 to btrfs and the mount as /.
- this fails with a messege about error in removing partition 0 0 0.
+ this fails with a message about error in removing partition 0 0 0.
The only way to install a brfs partition is to use the 12.04 livecd then upgrade al the way to 13.10.
** Package changed: ubuntu => ubiquity (Ubuntu)
** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
