Odd....did you compare the checksum of the iso file? Might be worth
downloading a new copy of the iso in case there is corruption

Bug description:
  I am trying to install Linux Mint 16 Cinnamon 32-bit on an ASUS EeePC
  1000HE but the installer always crashes. This happens when I delete an
  old partition, create a new one and click the format check box. I get
  a crash in Gtk.py, line 776. See the attached screenshot.
