  iso's created with ubuntu-defaults-builder do not support UEFI

Status in “ubuntu-defaults-builder” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Iso images created with ubuntu-defaults-builder do not boot on UEFI hardware. I've unpacked the iso and it looks like the whole EFI folder is simply missing. 
  Please let me know if you need any more information
