Public bug reported:
A while ago (probably a few hours ago) I got the usual notification that
updates were available and I chose to install them.
Now I notice Software Updater's icon is there on the Launcher (see
screenshot), apparently with a progress bar indicating that it's not
done.
If I click on the icon nothing happens.
If I click Alt+Tab and select Software Updater, nothing happens. There's no window anywhere. Even if I minimize all other windows, I never find Software Updater's window.
One funny thing is that the Launcher icon is even kind of highlighted
(it has an orange halo around it as you can see, which other icons don't
have, and I'm not sure what it means. Even the focused window doesn't
get highlighted in that way. Perhaps it's supposed to be prompting me
for something and waiting for me to respond, but the prompt is not
showing up anywhere?
