can't reproduce this. Please recheck with Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

Bug description:
  i have tried to install gcc and g++ both from ubuntu software center
  and also from terminal. The problem is, the packadge is getting
  installed but its not working at all, i have tried sevral times, but
  the result is same. please help to resolve this issue.
