Public bug reported:

I just performed a full install + ubuntu-desktop via tasksel using the
netboot image available at the QA Tracker:

Package: debian-installer
Status: install ok installed
Version: netboot-20101020ubuntu325
Description: debian installation image

And I see that it's actually still using Trusty sources:

lance at lance-desktop:~$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list
# deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty main restricted

# deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-updates main restricted
# deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu trusty-security main restricted

# See http://help.ubuntu.com/community/UpgradeNotes for how to upgrade to
# newer versions of the distribution.

So you also end up with a Trusty kernel:

lance at lance-desktop:~$ uname -a
Linux lance-desktop 3.13.0-29-generic #53-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jun 4 21:02:19 UTC 2014 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux

Seems odd since the QA Tracker states:

debian-installer (20101020ubuntu325) utopic; urgency=medium

   * Move master kernels to 3.15.0-5.
