Public bug reported:

We have an Acer Aspire S7 with coRe i3 and SSD in Raid 0. Tried to
install Ubuntu 14.04 but the install crashes at every atemt. It looks
like it does so after the install reaches "checking harware". It is
strange cause when "trying" Ubuntu 14.04 from the same usb boot key, it
workes just fine, exept a couple of crashes. So it seem it just can't
install it on this computer. Might it be du to the Raid 0 configuration
of the SSD drive? Hope you can help us out, we deleeted Windows 8.1 from
the computer in the process of trying to install the Ubuntu.
