  Fresh install on a emachine T5230

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I tried to install version 14.04 several times on this emachine. After
  several attemps it installed but crashed after trying to log in. I
  upgraded memory and the system seems to run faster but still crashes.
  I tried a re-install and now get a crash a the begining of the
  install.
