Public bug reported:

Iso Testing:
Testcase: http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/testcases/1451/info
Hardware: KVM-VM with Cirrus graphics

Installation works ok but after reboot there is only a black screen instead of the dialogue asking for the disk passphrase. I can work around this by either:
- Removing "splash" from the grub command-line
- Changing the graphics to "VGA"

** Affects: plymouth (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
