** Description changed:

Got an error while trying to install ubuntu 1404, however the error message also has an error.
Tried my luck at askubuntu.com, and was asked to report it as a bug!

So when I started my linux installation (from a DVD), the installer booted up just nicely, and I had to choose a language.
  I chose English.
Then at the next step I chose to download updates while installing, and to install third-party software. (I've also tried unchecking theese)
At the next step I firs tried the 'erase disk and install ubuntu option, and later I've also tried the advanced/manual mode
When I finally click the "Install now" button, the installer takes me to a page were I have the option to choose where I live, however I immediately get an error.

The error message box title is '??? ???'
And the error message box text is '??? ???'

  And that's my bug...

I've checked the Ubuntu ISO MD5 checksum, and I've burned another copy
of ubuntu with slow speed and "Verify written data", just to eliminate
  any suspision towards tge DVD.

At askubuntu.com I was recommended to include some log files (syslog,
partman, and installer/debug), I've put them in a google drive folder,
  accessible from here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id
