I just installed Ubuntu 14.04 LTS a couple of days ago and I am also
experiencing this problem. Is there a fix/patch out for this yet?

A few days ago I stopped being able to tab complete file names.
Example:
I have a file "~/.juju/environments.yaml'
I am able to tab complete ~/.juju, but not the environments.yaml
