ubuntu-bug was run from chroot inside a Live USB environment; that may
explain some weirdness.

Bug description:
The EFI firmware refuses to recognize the .efi files from this
version, presenting an empty boot menu and refusing to continue.
efibootmgr shows the "ubuntu" option existing but it's not available
in the EFI interface.
