Modal dialogue boxes can be designed in such a way that they cannot be
displayed in their entirety of certain sizes of screen. Normally by
holding down Alt you can hold down the left mouse button and drag them
up the screen. (I always have to do this for the Software Updater on my
newer EEEPC with a 10 inch screen, for instance). Unfortunately, this
was not available in the ubiquity installer at the time I reported this
bug. I have not had to do a recent install on a small screen recently,
so I do not know if it is still a problem.

Title:
Installer screen too big for 7" EEEpc
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: ubiquity
I have just installed the 9.04 Ubuntu Netbook Remix on my EEEPC with a
7" screen. The installer screens are too big for it so the action
buttons are off the bottom of the screens with no way to make them
visible. I just had to guess that the Next or OK button had focus
then hit Return.
