  karmic: can't create ext3 partitions, can't change partitions

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

  with karmic daily amd64 as of today (Oct. 7th), manual partitioning

  problem 1: if I create a new partition and explicit say I want ext3, I
  still get ext4

  problem 2: if I want to change an existing partition, the dialog comes
  up empty
