So it still happens under virtualbox without modifying the kernel
command line?

Bug description:
  Following an install in a VirtualBox 4.3.6 guest, the install DVD
  image crashed when I supplied the rescue/enable=tru boot parameter.
  This is with EFI enabled in the guest.
