9.04 reached end of life some time ago, are you able to reproduce this
on 12.04+?

[Invalid argument] when installing in Samsung Q20 notebook.
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
I choose to install Ubuntu 9.04 inside Windows XP Home. My notebook is
Samsung Q20.
The process ends with an error "Invalid argument" and then close
without any prompt. I reboot and system boots Windows XP only, no
other booting choice.
