I think this can be considered fixed now.  The bar is not shown until
the screen after choosing manual partitioning.

  Ubuntu Jaunty alpha 5

  1. Advance to the "Prepare disk space" step.
  2. Choose "Specify partitions manually (advanced)".

  What happens: The after chart shows "Specify partitions manually (advanced) 100%", as if it is a type of partition.
  What should happen: The after chart is greyed out, as the partitioning is no longer being specified at this step.
