Can you reproduce this on 12.04 or 13.10?

Title:
Ubiquity Can't Proceed Past "Prepare Disk Space" Step with Side by
  Side install option

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

My hard drive currently has two side by side installations, Intrepid
and Kubuntu Jaunty alpha-5. I am encountering this issue while trying
to install Ubuntu Jaunty alpha-5 from the live CD to yet another
  partition.

  Steps:
  1. Run Install from the live CD
  2. On step labelled 5 of 8 choose "Install them Side by Side"

Note that Kubuntu Jaunty alpha-5 is listed, but not in the bar showing
  the new partitions.

  Steps (con'td):
  3. Click Forward

Result: The application appears to hang, with the cursor spinning.
Expected: The installer would move to step 6.
