Title:
reformats swap on raid raw devices

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

Testing Jaunty Alpha-6 Desktop CD and installing to a dmraid mirror
  setup.

In the partition list the partitions on the raid device
/dev/mapper/blabla as well as the two raw devices /dev/sda and
/dev/sdb appear. I then select a partition on the raid device for use
as root partition and do not touch any other partition.

However, when the summary appears, it says that the swap partitions on
the raw devices are also going to be reformatted, in addition to the
swap partition on the raid device (see screenshot). I do not want it
to touch the raw device partitions.

If I mark the raw device swap partitions as "do not use partition",
the label changes from "swap" to "linux-swap" and the summary
afterwards says it the partition tables of /dev/sda and /dev/sdb are
changed, so I suspect it will rewrite the partition tables on these
devices. I do not want it to touch the raw devices at all.

  ProblemType: Bug

   LANG=en_US.UTF-8
  SourcePackage: ubiquity
  Uname: Linux 2.6.28-9-generic i686
