Public bug reported:
New OpenJDK version, same issue as
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openjdk-6/+bug/257857
The underlying problem is that there's no way to do something like
compile a Java program or use jstack to debug a process without
installing the full openjdk-7-jdk package, which pulls in over a hundred
other packages for some large dependencies (GNOME, Mesa, sound themes,
etc.) which should not be installed on a server.
** Affects: openjdk-7 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
