Hello Phillip, and my best wishes to you for 2014

as said, i've seen this only with the latest cron fsck job (a few days
back) and i've tried to reproduce into a terminal, but failed to get the
verbosy output. So i've to wait for the next countdown fsck to happen,
to see if that issue still exist. By the way it seems to be a minor
problem.

Title:
Get the displayed output "1%$d" instead of the calculated value

Status in “util-linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
For the first time i've seen that output while fsck is automaticaly
  ran at boot time:

usually the messages are displaying something like: fsck 1% done ...... 100% done
but that time this value field seems to not receiving the calculated value, or not understanding its received format.

Sadly there is nothing logged, and running fsck from a terminal does
  not display the verbosy output.
