Title:
apt-get update cannot receive package from a specific repository.
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Sir,
When i try to run sudo apt-get update, the updater cannot recieve package from http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu//dists/precise-updates/main/binary-i386/Packages.bz2.
It stops after 388/712 KB. because of this i can not get newest packages on 12.04 LTS.
So i tried to get packages manually using Firefox and the same error occurs.
I think its server problem from Ubuntu side. Not my system.
Also I changed to "download from India server" and i get the same error.
It has been like this for last 5 days.
I just want you guys take a look
DETAILS:
Description: Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS
Release: 12.04
32bit
Thank you,
Akhil Shaju
