tk does not handle X11 errors correctly and fails with a xlib protocol error when used over an untrusted X11
connection ('ssh -X' with config 'ForwardX11Trusted no'):

X Error of failed request:  BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)
  Major opcode of failed request:  18 (X_ChangeProperty)
  Serial number of failed request:  12
  Current serial number in output stream:  15


This is related to upstream ticket:
New ticket [502e74e9ad] crash for untrusted X connections (for ssh: ForwardX11Trusted no).

which includes a proposed patch.
