Title:
kubuntu 14,04 beta2 install fails
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I have partitions for installing five linux versions and Windows 8.1.
After setting up / partition and /home partition the install system
crashes. On the third attempt I got this information about sending a
bug report.
To do a succesful install I want to set up partitions for
/
/home
/home/gld/myFiles
/.home/myBackup
/home/myToshiba
/home/myWindows
I have had similar failures with Kubuntu 13.10 and with Kubunntu13.04
to a lesser exstent.
Ubuntu 13.10 installs without a problem. but I detest the user
interface!
Please, please help. I want to be able to use Kubuntu.file:
I hope I have done the correct thing with these two logs. The instructions are to attach the log files, but ther is no elaboration about how to attach the files.
With 13.10 I installed Ubuntu 13.10 and then installed all of the KDE
files. This sort of worked but soon crashed.
My machine is an HP ENVY 700 700-010 Desktop
