Actually I'm on Raring, I can't re-try to update to trusty if you wan't.
With a fresh install of Trusty it will probably work.

Bug description:
Hi
Today I updated my desktop to test if a bug is still present in trusty and... It went very bad... AFter upgrade, I have no screen anymore (really not : none of my screens detect anything and continue searching on every possible source). My configuration is :
- Graphic card : 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] RV730 PRO [Radeon HD 4650]
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] RV730 PRO [Radeon HD 4650]
- Two screens connected : my computer screen on DVI, and an HD projector on HDMI
- I was on latestest saucy then updated to Trusty.
- The xord version after upgrade : 1:7.7+1ubuntu7
I managed to start with failsafeX to report this bug, but in two
times.
I include in the bug report the xorg logs and syslogs
