When running the Live CD what does the command 'apt-cache policy python-
apt' return?  Thanks in advance.

  The instalation process was crashed

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  I was trying to install the xubuntu 12.04 LTS, 64 bit on my laptop.
  The partition have 9Gb, the hardware is ok, i have another distros of
  ubuntu installed in this machine. The installation process just
  crashed and i received a message.
