+ 2) run do-release-upgrade
+ 3) Observe the upgrade fail
+ 4) Check /var/log/dist-upgrade/main.log for "'update-manager-kde' is marked for removal but it is in the removal blacklist."
+ 
  An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgarde....
