  Could not calculate the upgrade

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Error during upgrade from Breezy 5.10 to Dapper 6.06.

  Update mamanger reports there is a new version of Ubuntu available for
  download. When the upgrade begins, the update-manager handles the
  upgrade process nicely up to the point where it gets to the step
  "Downloading and installing the upgrades". The following error is then
  given during the "Asking for confirmation" portion of this step:

  Could not calculate the upgrade
  A unresolvable problem occured while calculating the upgrade. Please report this as a bug.

  This error is given each time the upgrade is attempted, including
  after a restart. No special steps are required to reproduce this
  error. Just following the prompts to upgrade to Dapper 6.06 LTS
  creates it.
