Hi Brian:
Actually the problem was with the Ram.
I removed the newer stick that I purchased some time ago and ran the
installer again...No PROBLEM.
The ram check indicated that both sticks were ok....... hmmmmm
I tried many times different distros then I did the ram thing remove
one stick...and I can install anything after that.
Hope all is going well.
Thanks for the good work on Ubuntu. Can't wait for the phone to come
out.

I was trying to install Ubuntu 14.04 on my Sony VAIO laptop but the installer crashed.
I've been trying to install Ubuntu for a long time and with version 13 I could finish the installation process but when it asked to reboot the system a message written: Operating System Not Found appeared when turning the pc on.
