OK; here you go. I installed, rebooted and grabbed the files and those are
in "After reboot". I then installed again and got the files while still in
the live USB session; those are in "Before reboot". I never ran
Boot-Repair for either.

Title:
Failed to install with UEFI
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Hi. I tried to install on a new Toshiba Satellite P55-A5312 along side
a pre-installed Windows 8.
With Secure Boot and UEFI enabled, it booted to Windows and I got:
http://paste.ubuntu.com/7340996/
With Secure Boot disabled and UEFI enabled, it booted to Windows and I got:
http://paste.ubuntu.com/7341506/
It successfully installed with both Secure Boot and UEFI disabled
(although I have to switch between enable/disable UEFI in the BIOS to
switch between Windows and Ubuntu).
I sent this info to The Boot Repair Team and they said
"What you describe is a bug of the Ubuntu installer (called "Ubiquity").
Please report the bug at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+filebug"
I have moved on but I'm submitting this info in case it helps improve
Ubiquity for future use.
Thanks!
