I just attached some files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/20140423-2025//
I believe the following is relevant info in main.log:

---
2014-04-18 21:57:15,564 ERROR Package brscan3 has no priority set
2014-04-18 21:57:15,957 ERROR Package hl4150cdncupswrapper:i386 has no priority set
2014-04-18 21:57:15,957 ERROR Package hl4150cdnlpr:i386 has no priority set
2014-04-18 21:57:17,331 ERROR Package mfcj5910dwcupswrapper:i386 has no priority set
2014-04-18 21:57:17,331 ERROR Package mfcj5910dwlpr:i386 has no priority set
2014-04-18 22:13:01,324 ERROR Dist-upgrade failed: 'E:Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.'
---

It concerns proprietary Brother drivers for my printer and scanner,
which I have installed according to the instructions on the Brother
support page. One dubious aspect I remember about the installation is
that I had to 'force' the installation...

Can I still upgrade and just ignore these problems?
