[Bug 1310373] Re: Ubiquity crashed after failed installation

I *do* know that Windows XP is not supported. That particular partition is 'left over' and is not used for over a couple of years, I guess I'll put something else on it eventually. It is not part of the problem (ubiquity handles that partition just fine).
I also *do* know that the problem is that GRUB is not able to store all required files (core.img) because the first partition starts at sector 63. (Which I already have fixed).

The *actual* problem is: ubiquity crashed because of an unexpected situation (GRUB failed to install, not that unexpected I suppose), which should not be happening!
According to UbiquityDebug.txt some 'Wizard' object tried to access some attribute 'forwardIcon', which is not available.
This needs to be fixed, to prevent this crash.

Hence I reopened this report and changed the package to ubiquity, so
this issue can be attended and ubiquity can be fixed/improved.

** Changed in: grub-installer (Ubuntu)
       Status: Invalid => New

** Package changed: grub-installer (Ubuntu) => ubiquity (Ubuntu)

** Description changed:

  After copying and installing all content (Kubuntu 14.04), ubiquity tried
  to install GRUB. This failed (wrong/non-existing partition in my
- RAID/LVM setup) and a crash handling dialog showed.
+ RAID/LVM setup, not the real issue here) and a crash handling dialog
+ showed.
