[Bug 1310720] [NEW] Whole Disk Encryption Crashes Using Ubuiquity 14.04 Installer

Public bug reported:

I am trying to perform whole disk encryption on a drive wiclean-
ubiquity-ubuntuth multiple partitions using Ubiquity installer on
Ubuntu-14.04. Right now I am experimenting with enctypting a VirtualBox
VM to try it out.

I followed the instructions provided by
http://www.linuxbsdos.com/2014/01/16...linux-mint-16/, and was able to
create the crypto partitions as described. However, when I finished and
pushed the "Install Now" button, I get an error dialog box coverd with
multiple "?" and clicking on it causing the installer to go back to the
disk setup screen. Other attempts resulted in an error box that stating
that the Installer crashed.

The syslog and partman logs are attached in a combined file
