I set package to ubiquity as it happens during install, but it looks
like parted_server is actually what is crashing.

** Package changed: ubuntu => ubiquity (Ubuntu)

Title:
ubuntu-gnome 14.04 install parted server crashes

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Trying to install ubuntu-gnome from the 20140412 daily fails when
continuing from the panel titled "Preparing to install Ubuntu GNOME".
It pops up a dialog with the text "?????" instead of normal messages
and then hangs. Restarting the installer encounters the same problem
but then attempts and fails to send a crash report.

I've attached a the apport crash file and a screen image of the broken
  dialog.

It happened on two different physical computers. This also happened
with the 20140410 daily, but did not happen with the beta 2 release.
