Title:
[Feature Request] Enhance usability of oem-config time zone picker by
adding more U.S. southern cities
Status in The Somerville Project:
Fix Released
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Today the timezone screens will allow you to choose a region or city,
though this is still difficult for many to tell which city or region
they should choose to get the correct time zone.
Many cities, such as Austin, Texas, are not even listed the of cities.
To handle this many other Operating Systems allow the user to select
the exact timezone from a drop box. This drop down box whould have
clear timezone names such as "Central Standard Time (CST)".
