[Bug 1303168] [NEW] Always nothing on screen until Lubuntu splashscreen appears

Public bug reported:

I have the same grub as preinstalled with Lubuntu.(Im not sure if it is
called grub2 or grub2-common but apt-get says i have the latter
installed)

I cant change any settings (like boot with different kernel version) because I don't know where anything is!
Reinstalled Lubuntu 14.04 several times but issue still exists.

**Issue doesnt exist on another PC for reasons unknown to Me**

Lubutnu 14.04 with all updates installed including latest bios.
MS 6702 K8T NEO FSR mainboard.
