possible upstart-dbus-system-bridge also needs to be stopped, to allow
stopping e.g. usensord job.

  phablet at ubuntu-phablet:~$ stop usensord
  usensord start/running, process 3768
  phablet at ubuntu-phablet:~$ status usensord
  usensord start/running, process 3768

  Something odd is going on.
